okay i might have gotten the most annoying adware you would ever want,

the problem is continuous, ads will play from my computer which range from anything to commercials to barack obama,

even when im not on the computer, it will run continous ads and jam my computer up,sometimes up to 600,000 k of memory, ridiculous, the ads are coming from interet explorer.

ive already ran spyware, i have macafee, rana full scan, and it will not read whatevers wrong. i had no problems according to those programs i tried to use.

(and everytime i try to close the site, it ends up closing THIS window)

i have windows vista. how do i get this crap off my computer?

Safemode may be required. (F7/F8 at startup)

therafter
1.
Full updated Scan with Malwarebytes and Spybot S&D

2.
Run Combofix if it persists

3.
Still? Go to C:WINDOWSsystem32driversetchosts and and open HOST using notepad. Remove all entries except the loopback 127.0.0.1. Problem solved. It should read something like this:

# Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host

127.0.0.1 localhost

mcafee is not reliable. i learned this in 2008. avast, avg, avira, kaspersky are much more reliable. They can remove infections which mcafee fails to detect.

You might try switching to a trial version of a better antivirus, and once the infection is removed, you can uninstall it and re-install mcafee

I used mcafee for several years until i switched to Avira Antivir Premium. 4 trojan horses were detected by Avira scan which mcafee never detected.
